Purpose: The objective of training is taught that basic knowledge, modern techniques and methods, analytical and rational philosophy and ss in the diagnosis and treatments of disease to students. To give current information about rational drug use, disease factors, preventive medicine, environment and public healthy, poisoning and native diagnosis and therapy. To provide service related to diagnosis treatment of diseases, and also, to develop current knowledge and technology for diagnosis and treatments in the regional and national area.

Mission: The mission of department is to train the veterinarians with researcher mentality and analytical thoughtful. In addition, to serve the scientific technology to the animal and human healthy at national and international levels.

Program Description: Breeding, production, balanced and adequate nutrition of the domestic and livestock breeds, increasing their productivity, protection of the health of all animal species including bee, water creatures and wild animals, treatment of diseases, prevention of epidemics, protection of people from zoonotic diseases, will work on animal husbandry and livestock production, the quality, production, reliability and production technologies of animal foods, will be able to do education, practice and research. to keep veterinarians.

Admissions Requirements: Admission and Registration Requirements: 1) The following conditions are required to register to the Faculty: a) To be a graduate of a high school or equivalent school b) To be enrolled in the Faculty according to the provisions of the relevant legislation (2) The candidates who are eligible to register to the faculty must apply for the registration in person. However, applicants who cannot apply due to their excuses may register by means of their representatives or their legal representatives. (3) The original of the documents requested for registration or the University approved copy. With regard to military service and criminal record, the procedure is made based on the written statement of the candidate.

Recognition of Prior Learning: Transitions between departments and programs of other faculties of the faculty and the university, double major and minor education, the transition between the Associate Degree and Bachelor Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions published in the Official Gazette dated 24/4/2010 and numbered 27561, And the Senate. The orientation of the students coming with horizontal and vertical transition is made by the Faculty Administrative Board.

Graduation Requirements: In order for a student to graduate from the Faculty, he / she must have taken the required courses and completed the internship and graduation weighted average must be at least 2.00. Students who successfully complete all the courses for the first two years of their education (first four semesters) of the faculty are given the associate degree diploma if they wish to leave the Faculty. Applications to obtain an associate degree diploma are not limited to any period.

Principles of Assessment and Evaluation: After the final / make-up exam of a course, 40% of the students mid-term exams / exams and 60% of the final / make-up exams are taken into consideration, the course is determined by the instructor and the course grade is given as a letter grade. The effect of mid-term exams on the grade point average may be increased up to 60% with the decision of the Faculty Board for some courses. In order to be successful in a course, the student must have at least a letter grade. However, if the student is at least 2.00 as of the semester of the semester, DC and DD grades are successful and if less than 2.00, DC and DD grades are considered as unsuccessful.
