Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay presented plaques to the SU Capsule Hyperloop Team and SU Capsule The Guardians of Heart Team, which achieved a degree in TEKNOFEST 2022, at the "Start Day" program organized by the Capsule Technology Platform.

Enes Yücel, SU Kapsül The Guardians of Heart Team Advisor Prof. Dr. İnci Kara, Head of Konya Branch of the Chamber of Architects Armağan Güleç Korkuz, T3 Foundation managers, lecturers, teams and consultants who are members of the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Capsule Technology Platform attended the program which is expressed as the starting day of the works to be carried out by the Capsule Technology Platform in 2023.

Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay said that they are carrying out works with the aim of being a pioneer with the importance of acting together and fast in every field in Konya. Stating that young people have serious responsibilities in the growth and strengthening of Turkey in this context, Altay said, “One of the most important values ​​of Konya is the universities it has and our students studying at our universities. I always openly express this on every platform. You have made a great contribution to the development of human resources in Konya. During the training, you gain knowledge and experience. Afterwards, many of you become a part of production, employment and technology in Konya. You have a great contribution to the added value of Konya. On behalf of the people of Konya, I thank you all. I believe we can achieve much better things together.” Congratulating the teams for their success at TEKNOFEST, President Altay added that his contributions and support to the teams will continue.

Bilal Gün from the SU Capsule Hyperloop Team stated that they are happy to be the first with the vehicle they developed with the "hyperloop" technology for the first time in Turkey at TEKNOFEST, which they participated with the Capsule Technology Platform. Explaining the contribution and support of the platform to the national technology move, Gün said, “This wind we got from the capsule enabled us to walk more confidently towards our goals. As young people, we will continue with passion and effort in this period when we are working to take our place in the centennial anniversary of Turkey. We will strive to fulfill our new dreams with the same determination, without forgetting the times we worked until the morning in the technology center of the city. Dear President, Dear Rector, I would like to thank Konya Metropolitan Municipality and Capsule Technology Platform on behalf of my team for making our dreams possible.”

Necmettin Erbakan University Rector Prof. Dr. Cem Zorlu also stated that Konya Metropolitan Municipality has significant contributions and supports to the studies of universities.

After the speeches, the teams and consultants of the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Capsule Technology Platform were given plaques. SU Capsule Hyperloop Team and SU Capsule The Guardians of Heart Team were presented their plaques by the Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay.

The SU Capsule Hyperloop Team, which won the first prize in the "Hyperloop Development Competition" in Samsun, also won the "Technical Design Report Award" and "Technology Display Award" at TEKNOFEST 2022.

SU Kapsül The Guardians of Heart Team ranked second in the "Technology Contest for the Benefit of Humanity Health and First Aid Category" in the competition held between 30 August and 4 September 2022.
