About :

Our Conservatory was established on 16.03.1991, and in 1993, the Department of Performing Arts Department of Theater and Turkish Music Departments started education activities. Our conservatory has been serving in the building of Selcuk University Dilek Sabanci Conservatory since the 2007-2008 academic year and the name of our conservatory has been established since 25.03.2008. was changed to Dilek Sabancı State Conservatory. The Theater Department opened in 1991 and the Opera Department opened in 1995. Since its establishment, 197 students have graduated from the Department of Theater and 63 students have graduated from the Department of Opera. Our first graduates of the Conservatory in 1997. He has given nearly 500 alumni in various places in Turkey, music and performing arts, he has been working with success as an artist and educator.

Vision :

A program that develops interdisciplinary communication and collaboration that disseminates an innovative and holistic perspective between the practice and theory that contributes to the production of universal art and knowledge, which has opened up new horizons that are respected and preferred by the Performing Arts program through education and research, which open up new horizons that are respected and preferred at national and international level. The program is to be.

Mission :

Professional artists and the quality of the educators educate and education programs of national and international artists who need that receive primarily Turkey by improving the Performing Arts program within the theater and national and international cooperation in the Opera area, groups, is pushing ahead even with the contribution of communities and researchers.

Purpose :

In Theater and Performing Arts programs within these areas by providing academic education in the opera's first branch authority to Turkey and international artists, it is to train educators and academics.

Definition of Program :

The aim of the undergraduate programs within the scope of Performing Arts is to provide an intellectual accumulation and physical equipment to the future theater and opera performer, trainer and academician candidates within the framework of the ethical rules of the profession and modern methods.

Admission and Registration Requirements :

To be successful in the Special Ability Exam to be made for student recruitment.

Recognition of Previous Education :

Depending on the relevant regulations and decisions of the board of directors, students' prior learning courses may be recognized as exemption or equivalent.

Graduation Requirements :

In order for a student to graduate from the program in which he / she is registered, he / she has taken all the courses in the program and must have achieved and the graduation weighted grade point average must be at least 2.00.

Assessment and Evaluation Regulations :

The courses in the program are evaluated and evaluated according to the related regulations within the framework of the specific evaluation criteria of each course by the midterm, final and final exams.

Employment Oppurtunities :

Students who are graduated from this program can be employed in Theater and Opera institutions, universities and various art and education institutions in the national and international framework in accordance with their aims and studies.
