About Our Faculty
Selçuk University Faculty of Agriculture was established with the Decree Law No. 41 dated 20 July 1982. While students were admitted to the Soil Department in 1982, Field Crops and Agricultural Machinery Department in 1983, and Animal Science Department in 1983, education activities continue in 9 departments as of now. It moved to its own building on the Alaeddin Keykubat Campus in 1992. Our students complete an education program of 8 semesters in 4 years and obtain an Agricultural Engineer undergraduate diploma. In the Food Engineering Department, the same education-training program is applied to other departments within the Faculty of Agriculture, but different diplomas are given.

Education and Training Model
In the departments of our faculty, a 4-year education is given in two terms (fall-spring) each year. In order to be successful in a course, after the final or make-up exam of that course, the passing grade is determined by the instructor in charge according to the letter grade given by considering the sum of 40% of the midterm exam grade average and 60% of the final/make-up exam grade. In order for a student to be considered successful in a course, the letter grade must be at least CC. In addition, in order to graduate from the departments, the student must successfully complete at least 240 ECTS courses and a summer internship.
Tuition Fees
There is no tuition fee for the departments in our faculty. Students who cannot graduate during their education period pay the determined tuition fee for each term they extend.
Dormitory Facilities
Atatürk Student Dormitories, located on the campus, have a capacity of 2,300 students and consist of 6 blocks. 4 blocks are reserved for female students and 2 blocks are reserved for male students. There are single, double and quadruple room options in the dormitories. All quadruple rooms and some double rooms have shared bathrooms and toilets

Dining Hall and Other Services
Meals are provided for our students on the campus of our university.

In our university, food scholarships are provided for our students in need.
S.Ü. Keykubat Köşkü ve Gökkuşağı AVM, offer many facilities (photocopy, technology stores, apparel, shopping centers, etc.) to our students as well as food service.
There are indoor sports halls, stadium, tennis courts and swimming pool in the campus.
Scholarship Opportunities
There is no scholarship service provided to students by our faculty. On the other hand, the General Directorate of Credits and Dormitories provides scholarships and education loans to needy students.
