JOB DESCRIPTION

 

To provide all kinds of information and documents in printed and electronic media required for the university's education and research activities, to make them accessible by performing technical operations at international standards; to coordinate the establishment and operation of the information technologies required for these services in libraries; to support education and research activities in cooperation with academic units; to carry out studies for their protection and transfer to future generations; to make the outputs of scientific studies supported by public resources available as open access.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE UNIT

 

  • In order to ensure that the library services are carried out without interruption, to form a sufficient staff, to divide the work and to carry out general training and supervision over the staff,
  • To prepare the budget of the Presidency, to submit it to the Rectorate as the budget of the Presidency, taking into account the needs of the affiliated units according to the suggestions received from the Branch Manager,
  • To ensure that purchasing transactions are carried out in a balanced manner between the center and affiliated units in line with the University's development policy,
  • To follow the developments in the field of librarianship and to work for the introduction of new technologies into the library,
  • To ensure the standardization and supervision of technical and reader services,
  • To ensure that the central and unit libraries work in coordination and cooperation and to open vocational courses and organize training programs for this purpose,
  • To facilitate scientific research by publishing bibliography, thesis catalog, etc,
  • To prepare a detailed activity report on Library and Documentation services and submit it to the Rectorate at the end of the year,
  • To carry out other activities that fall within the field of duty in accordance with this regulation and required by library services,

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

To ensure that financial affairs and all kinds of maintenance and repair services, cleaning services are carried out under the control and coordination of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Branch Directorate, Library and Documentation Department.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE UNIT

 

  • To carry out the services to be provided in the library within the framework of the arrangements made by the department,
  • Taking the necessary measures to eliminate maintenance, repair and device malfunctions that arise during the execution of library services,
  • To follow the work in the unit he/she is responsible for, to supervise, to correct any problems,
  • To ensure that the publications donated to our library are acquired in accordance with the directive,
  • Ensuring the execution of Administrative and Financial Affairs (travel, budget works),
  • To carry out the duty of Realization Officer,
  • Identification of library resources to be purchased,
  • Ensuring the realization of the works required to be carried out in accordance with the Regulation on Movable Goods for library resources and related materials,
  • To notify the head of the department of the equipment and all kinds of library materials needed in the unit he / she is responsible for,
  • Fulfillment of other duties to be assigned by the Presidency,

  • To ensure that periodicals are presented to the reader in a healthy way by supervising the procedures to be carried out from the entrance of the library to the service of the reader,
  • To coordinate and carry out the work and procedures until the periodicals received through purchase, mail, donation or compilation are put into service.
  • User training, selection and use of databases, interlibrary loan services,
  • It carries out coordination of the work in the service, data entry and control, cataloging and classification, library use, and consultation services,
  • To provide and follow up the materials that are not available in the library from domestic and foreign institutions within the framework of the Interlibrary Loan System (ILL),

JOB DESCRIPTION

In order to carry out all necessary activities of the library in accordance with the principles of effectiveness and efficiency, it makes the necessary procedures for the registration of purchasing - consumption and fixture materials.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receiving the movables coming to the warehouse by counting, weighing or measuring and issuing a Movable Transaction Receipt,
  • A Request Document is issued for consumables,
  • To follow up the purchase requests by taking into account the current appropriation status,
  • Preparing purchase request forms,
  • To make other correspondence according to the type of purchase (approximate cost, market research, goods inspection acceptance, acceptance of service works, tender approval and payment order, receipt of bids and preparation of purchase approval document)
  • To organize the cash or deductions and deliver them to the Strategy Department together with the delivery documents,
  • To organize and file the documents approved for payment by the Strategy Department according to the payment items,
  • Preparation and follow-up of documents requiring preliminary financial control,
  • Procurement of goods and services,
  • Carrying out conformity approval procedures,
  • Determination of approximate cost,
  • Preparation of purchase authorization and approval document,
  • At the end of each fiscal year, all fixtures and consumables registered in the movables are counted and a report is prepared,
  • Determines the iron and steel materials that fall out of use and notifies the value determination commission,
  • Performing embezzlement and scrap operations,

  2. A Request Document is issued for consumables,
  3. To follow up the purchase requests by taking into account the current appropriation status,
  4. Preparing purchase request forms,
  5. To make other correspondence according to the type of purchase (approximate cost, market research, goods inspection acceptance, acceptance of service works, tender approval and payment order, receipt of bids and preparation of purchase approval document)
  6. To organize the cash or deductions and deliver them to the Strategy Department together with the delivery documents,
  7. To organize and file the documents approved for payment by the Strategy Department according to the payment items,
  8. Preparation and follow-up of documents requiring preliminary financial control,

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the control and coordination of the Department of Library and Documentation, it takes the necessary actions to carry out all activities in accordance with the principles of effectiveness and efficiency.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. To ensure that the necessary correspondence is prepared and directed in all areas related to the unit,
  2. To ensure the effective and efficient functioning of correspondence and communication processes,
  3. To follow the flow of all internal and external corporate correspondence,
  4. Recording, writing and distribution of all incoming and outgoing documents to and from the center, control and follow-up,
  5. To do the archiving work of the office.
  6. Delivering the returned documents to the relevant person with a report.
  7. To prepare the payrolls of the company employees and send them to the relevant place,
  8. Determining the needs for office and stationery consumables and making requests by filling out the relevant forms,
  9. Grouping publications such as books, magazines and brochures sent by mail from external institutions and sending them to the relevant persons or departments.
  10. The Head of Department performs similar duties to be assigned by the Branch Manager.
