Purpose: To identify the microorganisms that affect human health, to fight with them, to protect the disease and to provide the necessary information to ensure the control.

Vision: Knowledge is required before fighting all diseases in the field of medicine. In order to use the technological developments in microbiology for the benefit of humanity, first of all, well-trained, knowledgeable and experienced physicians are needed. In order to meet this requirement, medical education should be adopted in medical microbiology education.

Mission: The aim of this course is to provide the students with the basic knowledge and skills necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of microorganisms and infectious diseases which continue to be an important health problem in our country.

Program Language: Turkish

Program Description: Lectures are given in two groups as theoretical and practical lessons. In theoretical lectures, microorganisms are informed about the diseases they make and their reflections on the clinic, and in practical applications, experiments are carried out in multidisciplinary laboratory.

Admissions Requirements: To be a student of medical faculty 1,2 and 3.

Recognition of Prior Learning: Successfully completed the previous class.

Graduation Requirements: Final exam

Principles of Assessment and Evaluation: Achieving end-of-course exams

Employment Opportunities: All graduates of the medical school have business guarantees due to the State Service Obligation
