Purpose: Teaching of detailed history taking and making it as a skill by practise, teaching of comprehensive and detailed physical exam and making it as a skill by physical exam practise, teaching of radiological and pathological findings, gaining knowledge about differential diagnosis and up-to-date treatment, teaching of necessary preventive strategies for prevention of diseases and to decrease of their incidence are the goals.

Mission: Our mission is to provide professional medicine under scientific knowledge and models, by using modern technology, by making a clear plan for diagnosis and treatment of the patients, applying and reviewing it, adopting of team work, by playing of leadership role for education, research, and consultation.

Program Language: Turkish

Program Description: In our program, importance of pediatric physical exam, important topics and diseases will be discussed, also differential diagnosis of diseases and their treatment will be described to the students by theory and practise. Learning of the students emergency situations in pediatrics, their diagnosis, treatment and follow up will be provided them.

Admissions Requirements: Our rotation is placed in 4th year of medical school. Requirements for admission and registration are follows. For Turkish students: Under rule and regulations of Turkish Council of Higher Education, students are accepted to this program by central examination of OSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center). Following students choice procedure, they will be placed to their preferences by OSYM according to the exam scores. For International Students: They will be placed to our program according to results of internationally recognized exams such as SAT I, ACT, GCE or valid scores from other foreign student exams which organized by our university or other Turkish Universities and by specific rule and regulations.

Recognition of Prior Learning: To complete 3rd year of the Medical School

Graduation Requirements: To pass written and verbal exams with success
