Purpose: Educate experts and scientists in the field of Parasitology, in need of the country

Vision: Being an institution that trained scientists and specialized in handling effort in Parasitology areas and respect at the national and international level, scientific thought holding preliminary plan, science and equipped with the appropriate professional knowledge era that could contribute to technology, well-equipped, capable of adapting to the global world, countries and universities.

Program Description: Since 1982 in the department of Parasitology, theoretical and practical General Parasitology, Helminthology, Protozoology, entomology and in the field of bee diseases courses are taught to students. Since the same date, our department are made by faculty members and research assistants particularly in parasitic diseases of livestock concerning the Konya region.In addition, at the request of Konya and the surrounding Veterinarians and animal practitioners or institutions to assist them in relation to the subject and tried to solve the problem.Department of Parasitology, there are two laboratories for research and routine use. In these laboratories, as well as scientific research, animals in Konya making diagnosis of endo and ectoparasites, treatment and protection in what is an attempt to find solutions for issues to be done.

Admissions Requirements: The candidates must fullfill the criteria of ALES and the other criteria by the Graduate Scholl of Health Sciences is accepted to the Master program performed interview in the fall and spring semesters.

Recognition of Prior Learning: In transfer from other educational institutions, courses must be adaptable and/or compatible with our courses. Also, the success of the students are considered by the Commitee of The Department.

Graduation Requirements: The students must be taken 30 ECTS at each half year. Total credits must be 120 ECTS. In order to succeed for each lecture, the avarage of theoretical and practical exams must be 70. The students must be present a seminar. The students complete the thesis in 2 half terms. Master of thesis must be accepted by the jury.
