Purpose: Pre-hospital emergency medical services, basic and advanced life support for injured patients and capable of all kinds of appropriate emergency management system can recognize the trauma of the first interventions were sick or injured people to hospitals by ambulance in a safe manner that would enable the staff to educate health care.

Vision: It is to reach an educational standard to compete atdomestic and international levels by using advanced educational techniques with the aim of improving the quality of education andto train a qualified intermediate staff who gets an informational level in their own fields and international level, has respect for universal values and leads in change and innovation. In direction of the needs of health sector, it is to develop new medical diagnostic and medical care programs to the extent of the adequacy of teaching staff and physical place.

Mission: The mission is to contribute to train dynamic, clear-sighted, and modern individuals who have well informed and skilled in profession, are equipped with the perfection necessary for the sector and marketing conditions and have the speed and capability of following current affairs to work in the establishments and organizations that operate in the health sector. He will have the capability of showing a continuous development and moving to aim at performing the best service in direction ofthe learning objectives. His skills to set and keep communication should be high and his analytic way should be strong. He will be inclined to team work and respect for the ethical values coming with the profession. He should be loyal to our national values and Ataturks principles and reforms.

Program Description: Ambulance Paramedics systems present new perspectives and radical changes as a result of pre-hospital emergency system have become an important and necessary element. Program meets the needs of the industry in this direction in this important mission, knowledge, skills and equipment to undertake and maintain a leading role in the training of paramedics gained supremacy. In line with expectations and the need for lifelong development of the health sector tends to make a difference and to train paramedics have sufficient knowledge and skills in the field of training, students as well as professional knowledge and skills to communicate effectively, work in teams, aims to acquire the ability to solve problems and be able to realize.

Admissions Requirements: Candidates must also fullfill the criteria of ALES and the other criteria by the Graduate Scholl of Health Sciences.

Recognition of Prior Learning: In transfer from other educational institutions, courses must be adaptable and/or compatible with our courses. Also, the success of the students are considered by the Commitee of The Department.

Graduation Requirements: The students must be taken 30 ECTS at each half year. Total credits must be 120 ECTS. In order to succeed for each lecture, the avarage of theoretical and practical exams must be 70. The students must be present a seminar. The students complete the thesis in 2 half terms. Master of thesis must be accepted by the jury.

Principles of Assessment and Evaluation: he assesment of the exams are explained in the teaching programme.
