Purpose: Teaching the normal form and structure of human body, introducing the organs, establising the knowledge of their functional, structural and close relations to each other and enabling the graduate students to have basic anatomical knowledge in order to use it in clinical practice.

Vision: Educating the students with professionals who has the potential of evaluating known scientific data and use it for new ideas, in order to enable them to explore new problems and find solutions for those.

Mission: Educating the compotent, knowledgeable, ethical science professionals by faculty members who are experts in their special scientific field and constanty improving themselves.

Program Language: Turkish

Program Description: Courses are taught in two groups of theoretical lessons and practical applications. In theoretical courses, according to the human body system separating theoretical courses with normal body structure is taught, variations and are given information about their clinical manifestations, and model what they learned in lectures and in practice are given the opportunity to examine the bones and cadavers.

Admissions Requirements: Applicants must have graduated from one of the following faculties - Medicine - Dentistry Faculty - Faculty of Health Sciences (nursing, physical therapy and rehabilitation department), physical therapy and rehabilitation schools requested by the Institute for candidates of Medical Sciences who graduated from the mentioned faculty -Upstairs ALES and foreign. It is obliged to fulfill the language requirements. * Certain cases sought special conditions, determined by the Department Assembly.

Recognition of Prior Learning: The courses they have taken students from other educational institutions there must be compatible with our course. In addition to this, the students grade is taken into account by the Department Directors.

Graduation Requirements: Students must complete a total of 120 ECTS including 30 ECTS each semester. The average of the theoretical and practical exam to be successful in each course must be 70. Students should give two seminars at the end of this period. Students finish the thesis in total of 2 semesters.

Principles of Assessment and Evaluation: The methods used in the evaluation of exam information packet prepared for each lesson is explained in the course.

Employment Opportunities: Graduate students may find work that suits them and can also apply to the academic positions related of the faculties anatomy departments.
