Course Objectives The aim of this course is to inform students about the utilization of bio-materials in the medical field and materials engineering, the types of bio-materials, the interactions between the body tissues and bio-compatible materials, the production techniques, and the future trends. The course also aims to correlate the aforementioned information with the classification of bio-materials and materials election criteria according to the application area.
