D.Ö.Ç. 1 He/She 1- Recognize the material used in mechanical engineering applications. 2- Recognize the behaviors of materials under different effects. 3- Knows the deformation acteristics of materials subjected to different conditions. 4- Knows how to use testing machines for determination of mechanical behaviors and interprets the test results. 5- Can relate the material behaviors and production processes and heat treatments. 6-Knows how to materials by considering the competition between materials and interaction between material ion and environment and economy. 7- Can comment on phase diagrams of metal alloys. 4
