Course Objectives Upon completion of this course, students will develop an appreciation of the geological processes related to the the formation of different soils and rocks and understand how to obtain and measure the properties of the earth material commonly used in engineering practica, and be able to apply the modeling and analysis techniques used in earth materials.

Course Learning Methods and Techniquies
The course content will be presented by means of lecturers, field work, and lab demonstrations. Audio visual material, such as slides and videos, will be incorporeted as necessary.
