Course Learning Methods and Techniquies
With theoretical and Powerpoint presentations, How to make a geologic study Preparation for field work, Detailed field work After the field work needs to be done is explained. The information theoretically at least 5 is applied by field work full time.

1 Introduction, Attitudes of planes and lines, thickness, direct measurement, indirect measurement, measurements perpendicular to strike, V-rules. lecture notes
2 Basic mapping techniques: General mapping strategies, equipments and clothing, describing rocks, recording the data, field notebook, map symbols, collecting field specimens, taking oriented samples, photography, sketching in the field, locating contacts on topographic base,making a geologic map of an area, lecture notes
3 The field deion of sedimentary rocks, field acteristics of sedimentary rocks, sedimentary rock types, sedimentary rock textures, fossils in the field, sedimentary structures and geometry of sedimentary deposits, paleocurrent analysis lecture notes
4 The field deion of metamorphic rocks: Contacts and boundaries of metamorphic rocks, reporting rock tpes, textures and fabrics, scattered entities, contact and reacion zones, milonites and cataclasits lecture notes
