Course Objectives Crystallography, (Introduction , structure of the crystall lattices, crystall systems, Baravais lattices, Weiss and Miller indices,crystallographic forms, zones and symmetry, spherical and stereographic projections, classes and forms in seven crystal systems), Crystall Chemistry (crystallization, phase diagrams, izotype, polytype, polymorphy, diadochy, izomorphy, lattice structures, calculations of the mineral formula) and Crystal Physics (density and thermical, electrical, magnetical and mechanical acteristics)

D.Ö.Ç. 1 It has been aimed to teach the students about the development of the crystals forms, their plotting on the stereographic projection and crystallization as well as physical acteristics of the crystalls 4
D.Ö.Ç. 2 To determination of the geometric arrengment of the atoms in the minerals, have not only made their complicated chemical compositions understandable, but also shows that clasifications based on morphology really correspond to classifications based on crystal structure at a fundemental level. It therefore helps to undergraduate students to understand and interpret rock-forming minerals 4
