P.Ç.1 (Conceptual and theoretical knowledge) Having a multidimensional conceptual-theoretical understanding and knowledge on the subjects like city, society, design, economy, environment and politics within the context of local, regional, national and global levels regarding the urban and regional planning field.
P.Ç.2 (Knowledge on Reasoning and Research Methods) Having the necessary understanding and knowledge on scientific/philosophical methods about the subjects of inquiry, empathize, critical reasoning to approach problems from a solution focused point of view.
P.Ç.3 (Knowledge on Making Research and Synthesis) Having the necessary understanding and knowledge to get the necessary information from various resources for planning and to reflect them into plans and academic environments by being aware of multidimensional relations between planning and other disciplines.
P.Ç.4 (Implementation-Oriented Legal-Institutional Information) Having an understanding and knowledge on explanation and prediction of implementation instruments of plan decisions and policies and their success in different political, legal, institutional and socio-cultural contexts.
P.Ç.5 (Process Design Knowledge in Implementation) Having the understanding and knowledge of designing the processes, which provide to evaluate and implement the plans beyond land use decisions.
P.Ç.6 (Knowledge on Ethic and Behavior) Having the necessary understanding and knowledge on ethical values in planning and implementation processes.
P.Ç.7 (Producing plan, programme and policies) Having the ability of developing concepts regarding spatial planning from the creative, enterprising, innovative and artistic viewpoints and that of producing decisions, developing programme suggestions that are oriented to the decisions and production policies related to the suggestions.
P.Ç.8 (Use of Modern Technology) Obtaining the ability of using modern information technologies on the stage of producing planning decisions and policies, getting the necessary data from related institutions and professional fields, and that of ability to analyze the data for solution-oriented synthesis.
P.Ç.9 (Integrated Use of Knowledge) Obtaining the ability of producing solutions oriented to implementation from a creative reasoning point of view by considering the local values, social and economical processes and interdisciplinary interactions together with the changes and notions of the world during the production of plan decisions and policies.
P.Ç.10 (Aesthetic and Design) Having the ability of adding aesthetic and design dimensions to the planning process, associating aesthetic and design dimensions with written, verbal and graphical communication methods.
P.Ç.11 (Taking Initiative- Ability of Negotiation) Having the ability of predicting the needs, which can become evident within the society in the future, that of managing the changing process of natural and man-made environment by taking initiative, negotiating or compromising if necessary.
P.Ç.12 (Independent Working) Having the competence of independent studying and being able to take responsibility for producing planning decisions, programmes, projects and policies.
P.Ç.13 (Collaboration) Having the self-confidence and competence that is required to take individual and/or common responsibility for the plans, programmes and projects within the discipline and/or multi-disciplinary fields.
P.Ç.14 (Competence on Critical Learning) Having the ability to learn the knowledge and capabilities of urban and regional planning field by evaluating them in a critical and dialectic point of view.
