Course Objectives The main aim of this course is to examine residential areas which develop as an outcome of the urban growth. Suburbanization, social housing and mass-housing concepts will be evaluated in respects of spatial and social aspects by examples from Türkiye and developed countries. Sustainable urban design movements and urban models will be analyzed in terms of settlement and housing policies.
