Course Objectives Knowledge of the range of contemporary declarations, conventions, and covenants.Knowledge of some major infringements of human rights. Understanding of the basic conceptions of human rights including also discrimination, equality, etc.) Understanding of the relationship between individual, group, and national rights. Appreciation of one's own prejudices and the development of olerance. Appreciation of the rights of others. Sympathy for those who are denied rights.
