PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
Department Introduction
     Welcome to the Department of Public Administration (DoPA). DoPA was established within the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS). Students of DoPA have been enrolling for a one-year intensive English language preparatory programme since 1998.
      Academic structure of the department consists of four sub-departments: Legal Sciences, Urbanization and Environmental Issues, Political and Social Sciences, and Administrative Sciences. As of 2014-2015 academic year, there are 11 faculty members involved in teaching and research (5 professors, 4 associate professors, and 2 assistant professors). There are also 11 research assistants and one specialist in the department. 
     In addition to the core public administration courses, DoPA offers courses in other disciplines, including statistics, economics, law, and international relations. The duration of undergraduate program in DoPA is 5 years in total, including one-year intensive English language preparatory programme. 
     DoPA also offers several graduate degree programs in collaboration with the Social Sciences Institute: Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Non-thesis Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Non-thesis Master’s Degree in Political Science and Public Administration, Non-thesis Master’s Degree in Political and Social Sciences, and Ph.D. degree in Public Administration.
