Purpose: The objective of the Department of Business Administration (DoBA) is to train professionals equipped with the contemporary knowledge and competencies with respect to business management, entrepreneurship, and leadership at the national and international levels.

Vision: The vision of DoBA is to train equipped students who and apply ideas and projects useful to our nation and humanity who contribute to the environment with their thoughts, views, and suggestions based on an innovative and entrepreneurial understanding who are primarily preferred after their graduation and who are able to convert their talent into the competence.

Mission: The mission of DoBA is to motivate students to be the human resource of information age who are equipped with the managerial and entrepreneurial skills in accordance with the requirements of international, national and local levels of management. DoBA also aims at training individuals who have a sense of mission and responsibility who seek for the better and more quality who are self-confident and who show respect to business ethics and societal values.

Program Language: The program language is Turkish. Business Administration (English) Program is taught in English.

Program Description: The undergraduate programs in DoBA have been constituted by considering both contemporary theoretical developments and ever-changing realities of the business life. In these programs, an academic education containing current topics about dynamics of the enterprise with its national and international dimensions is provided. The courses have been designed to develop creativity and problem solving abilities and enrich business management knowledge.

Admissions Requirements: Following conditions are required to enroll in the programs in Selçuk University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS): a) to graduate from a high school or a vocational school equivalent to high school, b) to have the right to register to the programs in Selçuk University through central placement or provisions of Selçuk University International Students Admission Directive or to have the valid scores and conditions and to be successful at the special talent exam c) to submit the registration documents specified in OSYM guide, d) for those who are entitled to enroll an undergraduate program, not to have been registered to another formal or distance education program or distance learning degree program with quota restrictions, e) for those who are entitled to enroll associate degree program, not to have been registered to another formal or or distance education associate degree program or distance learning degree program with quota restrictions. The original or a copy of the required documents certified by the university will be accepted. Action shall be taken based on the candidates declaration of military situation and criminal record. Candidates who are entitled to enroll the university must apply in person to register. However, candidates who are unable to apply in person due to excuses can register via proxies having notarized proxy statement or legal representatives.

Recognition of Prior Learning: Before registering to a program in FEAS, students can be exempted from the courses that they have previously taken and succeeded in a higher education undergraduate or associate degree program based on the decision of Faculty Board. In addition, an exemption exam is held for English course at the ning of each academic year. Students have the right to take the exams. Students, who take the exam and obtained the adequate scores, will be exempted from the course at issue.

Graduation Requirements: In order to graduate from the program in which a student is registered, it is necessary to have taken and passed the courses in that program with a total of 240 ECTS, along with the other requirements including the applications, internships, and similar studies. Students must also have a GPA of at least 2.00.

Principles of Assessment and Evaluation: The success of a student in a course is determined by the letter grade computed by summing up the 40% of the mid-term exam(s) and 60% of the final/make-up exam. In order to be successful in a course, the letter grade of the student must be one of the following: AA, BA, BB, CB, CC. If a student receives a letter grade of DD or DC, GPA of the student must be at least 2.00 in the corresponding semester otherwise the student must repeat these courses. The evaluation of the DD and DC letter grades is done after the make-up exams. The letter grades and coefficients are as follows: (score letter Grade coefficient) 90-100 AA 4.00 85-89 BA 3.50 75-84 BB 3.00 70-74 CB 2.50 60-69 CC 2.00 55-59 DC 1.50 50-54 DD 1.00 40-49 FD 0.50 0-39 FF 0.00. The instructor is able to decrease the score intervals of the given letter grades. Students with the same scores cannot be given different letter grades. A letter grade given to a student cannot be lower than the letter grade of students whose grade is lower than him/her.

Employment Opportunities: The graduates of DoBA can be employed in various fields such as advertising, money and capital markets, banking and insurance, finance, international trade, purchasing, accounting and certified public accounting, public relations, production planning, management counselling, human resources management, international enterprises, and service sector firms. Our graduates can also establish their own firms, as they are trained to be entrepreneurs who are creative and willing to take risks. It is also possible for our graduates to work at universities in academic positions.

Jump to Top Degree Programs: The graduates of DoBA undergraduate program are able to attend a graduate program in Business Administration or other related fields on condition that they have a valid and adequate score of ALES exam and proficiency in a foreign language.
