Course Objectives 1- Identifying clay lathe that is main element of traditional ceramic. 2- Knowing specifications of clay and preparing it as appropriate 3- Designing models and producing models drawn in lathe. 4-Learning problems that might occur during production and their solutions. 5- Identifying machines and equipment used. 6- Identifying plaster lathe and its equipment. 7- Developing model design ability. 8- Producing and molding designed model. 9- Learning ing and template technique. 10- Making industrial production together with traditional method.

Course Learning Methods and Techniquies
1-Explanation of clay lathe and its technique. 2- Information about model drawing. 3- Showing forms made in lathe. 4- Showing centering, heightening, rolling out, shaping stages. 5- Individual and group work. 6-Reporting and presenting all stages of work. 7- Explanation of plaster lathe and its equipment. 8- Information about plaster and plaster-water percentage in plaster preparation. 9- Dividers used in mold and their specifications. 10- Showing model drawing stages in lathe. 11-Explanation of molding sections of model prepared in practice. 12- Giving information about production with mold drying, ing and template technique.
