Course Objectives 1. To define the art of illumination 2. To teach how a writing will be transformed to a plate in illumination art. 3. To implement a writing into plate. 4. To give theoretical information of painted background classical illumination and zer-ender-zer (literally, gold-on-gold) techniques. 5. To practise painted background classical illumination and zer-ender-zer (literally, gold-on-gold) techniques.
