Purpose:

Vision: In order to improve the quality of education, it is necessary to reach the education standards that can compete at national and international level by using advanced training techniques and to educate high quality intermediate staff who have reached the level of knowledge at international level in their own fields, respectful to universal values and lead change and innovation. To develop new medical diagnosis and medical care programs in accordance with the requirements of the health sector in terms of the professors and the physician.

Mission: To have the professional knowledge and skills to work in the health sector, to be able to follow the latest developments and to be able to perform the best service in line with the continuous development and learning objectives. Our aim is to contribute to the development of modern individuals who are dynamic, forward-thinking, have high communication skills, are strong in their analytical direction, they are prone to teamwork and they are respectful to the ethical values required by the profession and they are dependent on our national values and Atatürks principles and revolutions.

Program Description:

Admissions Requirements: Registration of students to faculties, colleges and vocational schools is made in accordance with the principles to be determined by the Council of Higher Education and the Interuniversity Board. According to the scores they get from the exam results, students submit their choice forms to the student ion center (ÖSYM) by sorting their preferences. Students who are placed in a program by ÖSYM will register to the University. For enrollment in faculties, colleges and vocational colleges a) To be graduates of high school or equivalent vocational schools, to be approved by the Ministry of National Education of the diplomas received from foreign high schools, b) To enter one of the following exams and 1) Student Selection and Placement Exam (ÖSYS) to be placed with the central placement system in the related unit of the University in that academic year. 2) To be placed with the central placement system in the related unit of the University in that academic year as a result of the Examination for Foreign Students (YÖS), 3) As a result of the Student Selection and Placement Examination (ÖSYS) and the ability to pass the special talent exam conducted by the relevant unit is sought. Recognition of Prior Learning: Students who are transferred to the program through horizontal transfer or have previously studied at other universities may be exempted from the courses they are successful in by taking the decision of the Board of Directors.

Graduation Requirements: In order to complete the program successfully, it is required to pass all the courses (120 ECTS) available in the program, and at least 2.0 weighted grade point average over 4.00.

Principles of Assessment and Evaluation: At least 70% of the theoretical courses and at least 80% of the applied courses are required for the student to register for the course and to take the general examination at the ning of the semester. Students are subject to at least one midterm exam and a general exam for each course. The contribution of the mid-term exam (mid-term exam grade, homework, application can be added to the scores obtained from measurement tools) contribution of 40%, the overall exam contribution is 60%. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. Students taking one of the grades AA, BA, BB, CB, CC in a course are considered successful. In order to be successful in these courses, students who have taken one of the DC, DD grades should have a semester / year weighted grade point average of 2.00.

Employment Opportunities: Graduates of the program can work in health institutions and organizations in public and private sector.

Jump to Top Degree Programs: Candidates who have completed their associate degree education can apply to the undergraduate programs determined by ÖSYM by entering the Vertical Transfer Exam carried out by ÖSYM.
