Provide an understanding to stages and purposes of the diversity and taxonomy of species. an understanding of the rules and practices of providing systematic. Provide the importance of taxonomic acters and their uses. Provide understanding of the relationships between taxa and taxonomic categories. Give information about the types and preparation of taxonomic publications. To ensure the learning of pronunciation of scientific names and to provide an understanding of the path to be followed in determining the type.
