Prof. Dr. Ömer ULUKAPI Prof. Dr. Ömer Ulukapý was born in 1962 in Konya. After completing his high school education in Konya, he entered Ankara University Faculty of Law and graduated from the university in 1984. He was assigned to Selçuk University Faculty of Law, Department of Civil Procedure and Enforcement-Bankruptcy Law as a research assistant in 1984. He got his master’s degree from Ankara University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Private Law in 1986 and the doctorate degree from the same institution in 1990. He was appointed to Selçuk University Faculty of Law, Department of “Civil Procedure and Enforcement-Bankruptcy Law” as “Assistant Professor” in 1990. He got his “Associate Professor” title in 1998 and “Professor” title in 2004. During this period he also undertook various administrative duties at Selçuk University as “vice-dean of Faculty of Law”, “Senate Member as representative of the Faculty of Law”, “Member of the Board of the Institute of Social Sciences”, “Member of the Board of Social Sciences Vocational School of Higher Education” and “Member of the Board of Konya Health Education Institute”. He is still the “Head of the Department of Civil Procedure and Enforcement-Bankruptcy Law”, “Member of the Board of the Faculty of Law” and “Vice-Chairman of the Department of Private Law.” He has several articles in various journals. Prof. Dr. Ulukapý is married and has two children. He knows German.
