Aziziye Mosque









Aziziye Mosque The mosque was built for the first time by Damat Mustafa Pasha, the accountant of the Ottoman sultan, Sultan Mehmet IV between the years 1671-1676. In a fire started in 1876 the mosque was burnt, then in 1894 it was rebuilt by the help of Sultan Abdulaziz and the income of the state charity.










Selimiye Mosque









Selimiye Mosque It is near Mevlana Mausoleum. It was started to be built in 1558 when Sultan Selim II was a Şehzade (the son of Sultans were called as Şehzade) and when he was the governor of Konya. In 1587 its construction was finished. It is one of the best examples of Ottoman Architecture in Konya.










Yusuf Aga Library









Yusuf Aga Library It is attached to the western part of Selimiye Mosque. It was built by Kethüda Yusuf Aga.










Konya Fair









Konya Fair It is in the north east of Alaeddin Hill. In the fair there are counters on which the products produced in Konya are exhibited. Besides, in the fair ground there are various fountain pools, garden cafes, restaurants and a lunapark. They are situated on an area of 100,000 m2.
